Social Media Marketing Specialist
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing social media content plans that are consistent with the company’s brand identity.
- Creating consistent, meaningful content on all social media platforms, including writing and editing social media posts, improving customer engagement, and promoting social media campaigns.
- Conceptualize and create IG Reels, Stories and videos, TikToks, and behind the scenes footage for our twice weekly photo shoots
- Editing photos for a cohesive look across website, app and social media channels
- Managing a high volume of daily social media posts.
- Assist with flatlays, product photos and other visual content
- Uncover trends, sounds and viral concepts by searching hashtags, brands and other influencers through all social media channels
- Communicating with social media followers, including responding to queries in a timely manner.
- Developing and managing social influencer programs and attending social influencer events.
- Suggesting recommendations to adjust the social media marketing strategy for optimal results.
- Live selling across several sales channels in front of large audiences.
- Staying up to date on best practices and emerging trends in social media.
- Performing other duties when needed.
- Work collaboratively with others on the marketing team
Social Media Specialist Requirements:
- 1 or more years of social media experience including planning and managing content in a corporate, or agency setting.
- Full time availability with a minimum of 2 full days in office.
- Familiarity with InShot, iMovie and other editing tools
- Comfortable in front of the camera and willingness to go live in app, on Facebook and Instagram a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and must have a thorough understanding of social media management and strategy.
- Social media links for a page you owned or managed
- Experience in creating a curated social media page (can be a personal page)
- Experience working in fashion a plus
- Detail oriented
- Ability to work in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, high pressure environment
- Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing priorities
Shop Manager:
Showroom Manager Position
At Pomp and Circumstance Boutique, we strive to provide a variety of clothing and accessories that can make every woman feel her absolute best! Our Showroom Manager plays a key role by merchandising all of the showroom’s inventory and providing exceptional customer service, ensuring we are giving P&C clients the best boutique experience possible.
Job Responsibilities:
- Meet the needs of in-store customers by engaging with them in a courteous, helpful, and respectful manner
- Process customer transactions through Point of Sale system when required
- Adhere to return policies and use discernment when making exceptions
- Fulfill and prepare Local Pickup orders in a timely manner following quality standards
- Perform replenishment duties by pulling products from stockroom
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized sales floor and stockroom
- Promptly and professionally respond to customer inquiries through phone or email
- Lead small team of Showroom Assistants as they prepare clothing for sales floor
- Ability to multitask in a very fast paced environment
- Maintain shop's social media accounts by posting a few times a day. Being comfortable in front of a camera is a plus
- Education/Experience/Qualifications:
- Retail/Sales experience is required
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- College degree preferred, but not required
- Effective communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with other team members
- Ability to work at least 35 hours a week, some Saturdays required, some evenings may be required
