Owner, Marie Earthman, was born in South Texas and has lived in Houston since the age of 2. After working for jewelry designer, Marnie Rocks and luxury handbag designer, Alexandra Knight, Marie took the plunge and started her own jewelry line in the Fall of 2007. Her designs have appeared in publications Lucky Magazine, Modern Luxury, Paper City and The Houston Chronicle, to name a few. Her designs were worn by actresses Jennifer Lopez, Melissa McCarthy and Michaela Watkins in the movie The Back-up Plan. After only a few short years of selling online, a brick and mortar studio was opened in Houston,TX and Pomp and Circumstance Designs was transformed into Pomp and Circumstance Boutique.

Marie is a wife to Richard, and a mom to two boys, Wright and Fields. She strives to make moms and women of all ages look and feel their best! Marie strives to bring classic pieces that will stay in your closet for years to come while also looking on trend and in style!

Feel good about shopping with us! Giving back is a huge part of our “why”. Starting in March of 2020, as layoffs began, Marie started hearing about more and more families that were unable to purchase groceries, pay rent and utilities, etc. What started as a local effort has now grown into helping families across the country! This program is growing every week and it's all because of you!
